KIRKSVILLE - Two Truman State University students were released from the hospital after being hit by a car Wednesday evening. According to Kirksville Police, Lacey Stevenson, 20, and Fiona Carmody, 20, were crossing Patterson Street near the intersection with Marion Street when they were struck by a 2002 Hyundai driven by Stephanie Chrissotimos, 26, of Kirksville. KIRKSVILLE - A gift from the Boeing Company to Truman State University should help Missouri teachers of math and science, and increase the level of academic achievement among high school students. The Boeing Teacher-Scholars for Advanced Study in Mathematics and Science is a 75,000 scholarship fund to provide special preparation for 40 teachers in Truman's Advanced Placement program.
