Changing lives: Devices allow workers to overcome disabilities Apr 26, 2006
All the cheer came Monday at the Knox County Association for Retarded Citizens Plant 2 as lives were changed through innovative ideas from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology students. People with severe disabilities are now able to complete tasks at the military processing plant on Old Wheatland Road using student designs for a tag stamper, a thread trimmer, a shirt inverter and a device to assist with mobility.
