    Sounds like a joke in need of a punchline, but this is a sad state of affairs regarding a number of state police officers involved in a December 2007 incident with a Rider University coed.     The young lady's lawyer, Nat Dershowitz, said she initially spoke only to investigators and decided against talking to the media because "she had faith in the system.
