After winning 101 of 102 singles matches during the regular season, the East Montgomery tennis team continued to prove their dominance in the Yadkin Valley Conference tournament being hosted by Gray Stone at Pfeiffer University. The estate of William G. White, who spent nearly three decades as president of First Federal Savings Bank of Winston-Salem, has made a $1 million unrestricted gift to Pfeiffer University, according to an announcement.
