    Western Carolina Hall of Fame Member Nora Lynn Finch Named SWA for ACC  Jul 13, 2008
    Before joining NC State, she directed the women's basketball teams at Wake Forest University (1971-73) and Peace College (1973-77) and was also Director of Athletics at Peace College (1973-77). She was also responsible for overseeing the administration of women's basketball, men and women's golf, men's soccer, postseason appearances, and the Athletics equipment room operations at NC State.     Pirates senior Amanda Rothwell, who will play for Peace College next year, said she was proud of the team's accomplishments and said the year was in honor of fallen teammate Skylar Wingate, who would have been a senior this year.     Florida records show that a foundation set up in 2001 by Blondeau and co-defendant Neal Knight Jr., a West Palm Beach lawyer, has given more than $450,000 to North Carolina and national causes, including Peace College, St. Mary's School, the N.C. The lawsuit charges that Blondeau and Knight used the charitable donations to enhance their own reputations, and also diverted money from Capps' accounts for college tuition for their children and $24,000 in wine...
