    Hillman was a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and was the director of architecture for Melham in addition to being a long-standing member of the American Institute of Architects. Working for several different firms during his career, Hillman designed many notable buildings in Central Pennsylvania, including Outlook Point at Creekview in Mechanicsburg, the West Shore Evangelical Free Church and the upcoming state memorial for fallen firefighters in Harrisburg.
