The McNeese State University Symphonic Band, the McNeese Honors Brass Quintet and the McNeese Trumpet Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6th, in the Rosa Hart Theatre of the Lake Charles Civic Center. Regents question Clausen for post Feb 28, 2008
The Board of Regents interviewed and praised Clausen for about 90 minutes yesterday at McNeese State University after the Regents' commissioner search committee last week unanimously decided to forgo a national search and recommend Clausen for the job. Clausen would replace outgoing Commissioner Joseph Savoie, who is becoming the new president of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which along with Southeastern Louisiana University and six other colleges, is part of Clausen's UL System.
