He had a big part in who I am today and why I am attending Luther Seminary. I ll simply remember the words Wally said nearly every day: Whelp (what he said when the day was wrapped up); Yello (the way he answered the phone); and I don t buy green bananas (his commentary on how he knew he wouldn t live forever he didn t know if he would be around long enough for them to ripen).
