    Jarret Brachman, director of research in the Combating Terrorism Center and assistant professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, will present a lecture at Hood College on Thursday.     Restoration efforts through genetic cross-breeding have been going on since the 1980s and are in their sixth generation, said Doug Boucher, biology professor at Hood College.
