    Christina Marie Brown, daughter of JoAnne and Robert Brown of Georgetown, has been named to the dean s list for the 2008 fall semester at Elon University. Brown, a vocal performance major, recently won at the NATS classical music competition held at the University of North Carolina, and will compete at the regional level in April. Overall, it said, the portion of the American population that attended movies on a weekly basis dropped from about 65 percent in 1930 to about 10 percent in the 1960s and pretty much stayed there.
