    It was announced July 11 that Ohio State will be joining other current Great Western Lacrosse League teams Air Force, Bellarmine, Denver and Quinnipiac in an exodus to the Eastern College Athletic Conference, although the GWLL was extremely competitive. In the ECAC, the former GWLL teams will compete with the already tenured teams Fairfield, Hobart and Loyola. (Ohio State University -- The Lantern, OH)

      Men's lacrosse leaving ECAA  Jul 16, 2008
    Penn State, along with the University of Massachusetts, will be leaving the Eastern College Athletic Association to join the CAA starting in the 2010 season. The addition of these two schools, along with the University of Delaware, Drexel University, Hofstra University and Towson University, will improve an already strong conference.
