Virginia College Fund receives grant to expand Jun 20, 2009
In addition to Ferrum College, the other Virginia College Fund members are: Averett University, Bluefield College, Eastern Mennonite University, and Virginia Intermont College. All are private, degree granting, liberal arts and comprehensive colleges and all are fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. UTPB will also interview Jason Gillespie, the current head coach at Bluefield College, an NAIA Division II school located in Bluefield, Virginia. In four years at Bluefield, Gillespie has led the Ramblin' Rams to a 92-41 record, two Appalachian Athletic Conference championships and three NAIA Division II National Tournament appearances.
